All the basics in your own studio

Spread over four floors you will find 90 studios that vary in size from 17 to 29 square meters. It is big enough for all your basics: space to sit, cook, study, sleep and take a shower. You have a kitchenette with ceramic cooker, upper cupboards and an outlet for a fridge.

Optimal internet

You can choose from two providers if you don’t just want to depend on mobile internet (Ziggo en OpenFiber).

Requirements

When registering, you must be able to prove that you are studying at post-secondary vocational education, higher professional education or university. Once you have completed or discontinued your study, you need to leave within 6 months.

You share a few facilities in Studios070 with your fellow students:

A great location!

Studios070 can be found on ‘s-Gravenzandelaan, in a neighborhood adjacent to the city center. In 5 minutes you cycle to Grote Markt, in 10 minutes to the Hague University of applied sciences. Public transport is never a problem in the heart of The Hague. The accessibility by car is excellent.

Living in The Hague

Rental conditions

To qualify for a studio in Studios070 we use a number of rental conditions:
We have the obligation to only rent out our studios to student at post-secondary vocational education, higher professional education or university and PhD students.

Rental period
The rental agreement will run for a minimum of 12 months. After these 12 months the agreement will continue in a month-to-month lease with a notice periode of one full calendar month. When your study registration ends, you must leave the studio within 6 months. Each year, the land lord will check if you are enrolled as a full-time student / doctoral candidate at post-secondary vocational education, higher professional education or university.

Service charge
The service costs include consumption related to the occupation of the rented and general (outdoor) areas, for example cleaning of the general areas and electricity and water use. The monthly service costs are in advance and will be €42,50 a month.

Rental costs
Additional rental costs, apart from the service costs, are not applicable.

Exceptions
The lessor may deviate from the foregoing if, in its opinion, there are special circumstances. There will always be an individual assessment

Requirements
To be eligible for a studio at Studios070, you must meet a number of conditions.

  • The rented property is intended for the accommodation of students and PhD students.
  • The deposit is one month’s rent including service costs if the student’s parents guarantee payment or two months rent including service costs if the student’s parents do not guarantee the payment.

Candidates must not have a BKR registration in their name.

Supplies needed (upload online)

  • Fill in an online registration form via the project website.
  • A copy of your ID
  • Evidence that you are studying full-time at post-secondary vocational education, higher professional education or university.
  • Bank statements of the (potential) tenant for the last two months showing that the income from, for example, a side job or a DUO loan is sufficient to pay the rent once.
  • If a guarantee applies, we would like to receive proof of the guarantee showing that the income of the guarantor is at least 3 times the monthly rental obligation. In case of a guarantee in the case of paid employment, we would like to receive a copy of proof of identity, annual statement and the last salary slip from the guarantor. In case of a guarantee regarding a company-owner we would like to receive a copy of proof of identity and an annual account of the last financial year drawn up or approved by an accountant.
  • In case of a guarantee, a guarantee agreement must be signed via the online platform.
  • A collection form for automatically debiting the rent is signed via an online module.
